<![CDATA[Anna : Weblog]]> Elgg http://poots.com/peoples/viral/weblog/ <![CDATA[my mystery monitor]]> http://poots.com/peoples/viral/weblog/130.html http://poots.com/peoples/viral/weblog/130.html Tue, 22 Sep 2009 05:05:22 GMT almost a year ago, i went to a now closed eye research institute to pick up a "really really important" vision equipment they were giving away for a friend who works in color-vision research. at the time my friend made it clear that this would be a huge favor to the lab where he was doing his post doctoral work since they didn't have grant money to buy such a rare and expensive piece of equipment. i rallied some friends and we dragged this huge box and stored it since that time.

since that time my friend has shown no interest in picking up the mystery box i decided to open it and look inside:

i would love to know what the hell this is??? it's some sort of monitor but it has no markings, no make, no model number, no brand. but lots of dials and knobs!
